(Page 2) <br />MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID # M-1977-302 <br />INSPECTION DATE December 19. 2003 INSPECTOR'S INITIALS CBM <br />OBSERVATIONS <br />This inspection was conducted at operator request to view areas that are ready for release and to clarify the difference between <br />'bonded acreage' and 'affected land'. <br />There has been some confusion regarding the difference between 'bonded acreage' or that amount of acreage on this permit <br />that the operator is not to exceed for bonding purposes (acres) and 'affected land' as defined in the Construction Material <br />Rules (see Rule 1.1(3)) or that land that has been or could be disturbed in the future at this mine site. <br />As a side note, it has been determined at this time that affected land at this site includes the Access Road and Bone yard, and <br />mined or to be mined lands as outlined on the maps included with TR-03; mining areas B and D. Documents used for this <br />determination included maps in TR-03 that outlined Mining Areas B and D and was approved by DMG on September 8, 1998. <br />The operator representative wanted the inspector tc view areas on the far west boundary of the quarry that have been <br />reclaimed. These areas were inspected and areas ready for release were discussed. The operator was directed to stake and <br />define the areas that were ready for release and submit a release request with new map once this had been done.
