Irrigation Well
Permit #10745F
Well #P10745
total depth 39'
adequate water supply on September 2002
6. This inspector notes that a large area south and west of the Hepp property has recently been converted from irrigated
farmland to a housing development that is part of the City of Firestone. This area includes parcels immediately west of
WCR 13 and on both sides of WCR 24. This area appears to be upgradient from the Hepp wells and may have previously
helped to recharge the alluvial aquifer supplying the Hepp wells. Surface drainage patterns in this development have
either been eliminated or altered significantly and site drainage is now routed north toward the St. Vrain River via a large
collection ditch. On April 2, 2003 this inspector spoke with Dave Lindsay of TST Engineering, and Mr. Lindsay indicated
that an on-site well was pumped to provide a source of water for dust control during the overlot grading south and west
of Mr. Hepp's property. A copy of this report is being forwarded to Dave Lindsay of TST (970) 226-0557 and Bruce
Nickerson of the City of Firestone (303) 422-7393 for review.
I & E Contact Address
NAME: Jeff Greog
OPERATOR: Hall Irwin
STREET: 11407 WCR 9-'j/4
CITY/STATE/ZIP: Longmon , CO 80570
cc: Carl Mount, DMG (via E-mail)
Dave Nettles
Division of Water Resources
810 9`h Street, Suite 200
Greeley, CO 80631
Donald Hepp
11525 Weld County Rd 13
Longmont, CO 80504
Dave Lindsay
TST Engineering
748 Whalers Way, Bld D
Fort Collins, CO 80525
Bruce Nickerson
Firestone Town Hall
PO Box 100
Firestone, CO 80520
Attachment
