MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID #: nn_ieRn-nie
INSPECTION DATE: Q~15/ns INSPECTORS INITIALS: KAP
OBSERVATIONS
This inspection was performed as part of the four-year monitoring program conducted by the Division of
Minerals and Geology. Present at the inspection was Kate Pickford, DMG. Jim Lynn of Park County
Road and Bridge was contacted regarding the inspection, but was unable to attend. Weather at the
time of the inspection was clear, calm, and approximately 50 degrees.
2. An appropriate sign is posted at the mine entrance and the boundaries are marked. Disturbance at
the site consists of approximately 2.5 acres of excavated area. The edges of the excavation are sloped
at 3H:1 V or less, which is an adequate slope for reclamation. Three stockpiles are present at the site,
and it appears that one or two may be topsoil. The permit application and subsequent
correspondence states that salvageable topsoil is sparse at the site and may not be able to be
salvaged. The operator is not required to salvage topsoil for reclamation at this site. If some of the
stockpiles material is, however, intended for use as topsoil during reclamation, the stockpile(s) should be
seeded so that the material is still viable at the time of reclamation.
I & E Contact Address Cc: ^ CE
^ BL
NAME: Jim Lvnn ^ FS
^ HW
OPERATOR: Park County Road and Bridge ^ HMWMD (CH)
STREET: P C1 Rox 147 ^ SE
CITY/STATE/ZIP: Fnirnln Cn R~44n ^ WOCD (CH)
Y X Other: Harry Posey, DMG
