ORIGINAL -PUBLIC FILE <br />(Page 2) <br />MIPJE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID #: nn-i 9Rn-add <br />INSPECTION DATE: ~/(L/~d INSPECTORQS INITIALS: ~- <br />OBSERVATIONS <br />The Division conducted a weekly construction progress of the Phase IVC <br />leach and area and a monitoring inspection of the site on 7/01/04. <br />Inspected the Phase IVC leach pad area. Due to recent afternoon rains, only <br />drain cover was being deployed along the west facing slopes at the time of <br />th.e inspection. Operator expects deployment of geomembrane and clay <br />deployment as soon as the weather permits. <br />Ir..spected the phase I, II, III AND IV leach pad pregnant areas and recorded <br />tY~e following readings from the High and Low volume solution collection <br />transducers. <br />Priase I High Volume solution collection transducer # 1 was recorded at 26.9 <br />#2 was at 30.1 and # 3 was at 29.6. Low volume transducer # 1 was at .14 <br />acid # 2 was at .47. Piezometer for the pond was at 34 feet <br />PYiase II and III High Volume solution collection transducer # 4 was <br />recorded at 33.9 # 5 was recorded at 35.6 and # 6 was recorded at 34.8. Low <br />volume transducer # 1 was at .11 and # 2 was at .40. Piezometer for the <br />pond was at 35.6 feet. <br />Phase IV High Volume solution collection transducer #7 was recorded at 27.3 <br /># 8 was at 26.5 # 9 was at 28.2 and # 10 was at 28.6. Low volume transducer <br /># 1 was at 11.3 and # 2 was at 9.5 inches of hydrostatic head. (All other <br />resadinga are in feet of hydrostatic head) <br />Inspected the external pond, it was holding some water (rain). While in the <br />are recorded the following readings from the Low Volume collection <br />transducers. Transducer # 1 was at 13.3 and # 2 was at 10.6. <br />Inspected the under- drain area, all the ponds with the exception of the <br />uF~per most pond, were dry. Both the south and 4-inch pipes were discharging <br />at: the time of the inspection. <br />I E.
