(Page 2) <br />MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID #: M-tgRt-nRn <br />INSPECTION DATE: nI/t s/(ll INSPECTOR'S INITIALS: °iw <br />OBSERVATIONS <br />This was a normal monitoring inspection conducted by Tony Waldron of DMG along with Mike Tezak representing the <br />operator. The site is located approximately 4 miles east of Cotopaxi, Colorado along U.S. Hwy 50. The pit is situated <br />along an old alluvial terrace of the Arkansas River. <br />The mine was properly identified and the boundaries were clearly marked using 3 foot diameter boulders around the <br />perimeter of the affected area. The mine was being operated in a logical and workmanship manner with topsoil being <br />salvaged and stockpiled ahead of any mining. The active portion of the pit is the west central area where a working pit is <br />present. The operator indicated that he has been contracting out crushing and screening to another operator on an <br />annual as needed basis.
