The operator has <br />cleared the stockpiles of overburden/topsoil and moved others. This a pit that provides raw <br />material for the main crushing operation located at the main office/plant site in the city of Pueblo. <br />At times material get backlogged on the Cesar Pit site due to equipment malfunction and <br />breakdowns. At the time of your inspection the Cat Dozer was in the shop for repairs and <br />unavailable on site for backsloping and shaping. Since your inspection the Cat Dozer is back on <br />site working. <br />The affected acreage is larger than the 30 acres that is bonded for in the original permit. <br />The operator estimates the affected area to be approximately 41.4 acres Please see the enclosed <br />corrective action map and the reconnaissance photos attached with this letter for details. <br />The operator looks forward to your reply and your help in this matter. <br />Thank you for you help thus far. ]f you need additional information, please call me at 719-240- <br />9424 or e-mail at jpg~ncasvs.com.
