(Page 21
MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID #: M-2006-084
INSPECTION DATE: 4-5-07 INSPECTOR'S INITIALS GRM
OBSERVATIONS
This inspection was conducted as part of the normal monitoring program established by the Colorado Division of
Reclamation, Mining and Safety for 112c permit applications. The White River City Pit is a proposed 112c permit
application located near the junction of Piceance Creek Road and State Road 64. Ron Murphy, representative for
Connell Resources met the inspector on site.
The require Notice under Rule 1.6.2(1)(b) was posted at the proposed entrance to the pit.
The current land use is for flat pastureland /agriculture. Pasture grasses were noted as healthy and beginning to
green up. Wetlands areas denoted on the maps appear to be accurately represented with the primary vegetation
being willows and some canary grass.
Visual inspection of the site denotes no buildings, utilities or other man made structures that are not represented on
the Existing Conditions Map C-lA. Irrigation structures across the fields will be redirected around the project to
ensure uninterrupted water flow to down stream useage.
No equipment, trash piles or other deleterious conditions are noted at this time.
The Historical Society noted a possible wagon road in the azea. The inspector notes no evidence of such a road
within the proposed disturbance area.
Over all the application appeazs to describe the site clearly and there are no issues of concern at this time.
Responses to this inspection report should be directed to Russ Means at the Division of Reclamation, Mining and
Safety, Grand Junction Field Office, 101 South 3`d Street, Room 301, Grand Junction, Colorado 81501, phone no.
970-241-1117.
I & E Contact Address
NAME: Ron Murphv
OPERATOR: Connell Resources
STREET: 23690 US Hiehway 64
CITY/STATEfZIP: Steamboat Springs, CO 80487
cc:
X CE: Lewicki and Associates
^ BL
^ FS
^ HW
^ HMWMD (CH}
^ WQCD (CH)
p OTHER
