III. Comments - Compliance <br />Below are Comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of <br />observations made during the inspection. Comments also describe any <br />enforcement actions taken during the inspection and the facts or evidence <br />supporting the enforcement action. <br />On October 30 1991 a partial inspection was conducted at the <br />Eckman Park Mines No. 1 & No. 2. At the time of the inspection <br />the weather was clear and cold. It has snowed the past sevex•al <br />days and about 4 inches of snow were on the ground. Present and <br />representing Cyprus, was Marcus Middleton. <br />Riprap was being stored at "Trudies Corner". This will be used to <br />reinforce pond spillways. The dismantling of the drag line is <br />complete. <br />The inspection proceeded up to the ridge line in section 61 to <br />get a general overview of the mine site. About 10 elk ran accross <br />the road along the ridge top. Sediment contol and access roads <br />were in good condition. <br />
