(Page 2)
MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID #: M-1997-035

INSPECTION DATE: April 19, 2001 INSPECTOR'S INITIALS: AIW
OBSERVATIONS
This was a normal monitoring inspection conducted by Tony Waldron of DMG along with Robert Vance of Park County Road
and Bridge. The Chapparal Pit # 2 is located approximately 20 miles southeast of Hansel, Colorado and approximately 1 mile
south of Elevenmile Resevoir. The area may be described as more ridge valley type topography that is common as South Park
starts to give way to the more mountainous surrounding terrain. The pit is situated on the side of one of these ridges or knobs
and an adjacent pit (M-95-021) is situated over the other ridge flank.
There was a mine identification sign present at the entrance to the site and the permit boundary markers were marked. There
is a shared boundary with the adjacent Chaparral Pit and most o(the disturbance at these sites has occurred in the adjacent pit
with very little disturbance having occurred in this pit up to this point. No problems were noted and this concluded the
inspection.
cc: Jim Stevens-DMG
^ CE
^ BL
^ FS
^ HW
^ HMWMD (CH)
^ SE
^ WQCD (CH)
^ OTHER
I & E Contact Address
NAME: Robert Vance
OPERATOR: Park County Road and Bridge
STREET: P.O.
