III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made during <br />the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection and the <br />facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was a complete inspection of the Carbon Junction Mine for the month of December, 2001. <br />Availability of Records: The records were in satisfactory condition. See page 5 of this report for further <br />details. <br />Hydrologic Balance: All ditches, culverts and ponds were inspected. Both ponds appeared stable and <br />were not discharging. All culverts were clear and capable of functioning as designed. <br />General Mine Comaliance: The site is to commence reclamation in the south pit area pictured below <br />during the latter part of January or early February 2002. No problems were noted on site. <br />
