The operator has an active noxious weed control program.
Canadian Thistle noted just offthe permitted area was noted as dead or dying, while plants on adjacent lands are still
healthy.
No sedimentation, erosion or stormwater issues were noted.
Overall the General Mining and Reclamation Plans appeaz to be being followed. There were no noted highwalls
and current mining edges are 3H:1 V slopes or close.
A small area (approximately 5 feet x 10 feet) was noted to have had a fuel spill. This area was used by a
subcontractor for asphalt production and appazently done at that time. The inspector is listine this as an issue under
Acid and Toxic Materials with an appropriate Corrective action and Date noted at the end of this report.
No other issues were noted at this time.
Responses to this inspection report should be directed to Russ Means at the Division of Minerals and Geology, Grand Junction
Field Offce, 101 South 3rtl Street, Room 301, Grand Junction, Colorado 81501, phone no. 970-241-1117.
I & E Contact Address cc:
^ CE
NAME: Robert Gvdesen ^ BL
OPERATOR: American Concrete and Gravel ^ FS
STREET: 200 Industrial Park Road ^ HW
CITY/STATE/ZIP: Gunnison .Colorado 81230 ^ HMWMD (CH)
^ WOCD (CH)
^ OTHER
