Present during the inspection was Darren Gebhardt of McAfee <br />Construction Company. <br />2. The Harley Pit #1 is permitted for a total of 105.55 acres. The mine plan specifies conventional dry-mining excavation <br />techniques. The site will be reclaimed to pastureland. The operator has posted a financial warranty in the amount of <br />$71,755, <br />3. The Harley Pit #1 is an active pit with approximately 20 acres of major disturbance with highwall, pit Floor, and <br />stockpile areas. This inspector confirms that the existing financial warranty is adequate to reclaim the current <br />disturbance. There was no evidence of surface or groundwater or excessive erosion at the site. Thts inspector confirms <br />the operator is in compliance with the mine plan and is keeping all mining disturbances within the designated permit <br />boundary. <br />4. The northern portion of the permit area has been adequately reclaimed in accordance with the reclamation plan and is <br />ready for financial warranty release. The operator may elect to apply for complete financial warranty release when the <br />entire site is completely reclaimed, or the operator may apply for a wmplete financial warranty release, within the next 60 <br />days, for those acres which have already been reclaimed. Under this option, the operator is advised to submit two (2) <br />copies of a revised reclamation plan map which delineates and quantifies the reclaimed acreage to be released from <br />further reclamation responsibility. In either case, the operator is encouraged to submit a request for release in <br />conformance with the requirements of Rule 4.17.1. See attached copy of Rule 4.17.1. The operator is also advised to <br />contact the Division prior to submittal of a release request to confirm whether or not the request should include a <br />reduction in the amount of financial warranty required. <br />5. An entrance sign and permit boundary markers were posted as required per Rule 3.1.12. <br />6. There was no evidence of noxious weeds present. <br />7.
