This inspection was conducted as part of the Division of Minerals and Geology's monitoring program. Present at the <br />inspection were Kate Pickford, DMG and Rich Schrorer, Grand County Road and Bridge. Weather at the time of the <br />inspection was partly cloudy, breezy, and approximately 75 degrees. <br />2. A sign was posted at the entrance to the site and the boundaries were marked. Topsoil was stockpiled near the entrance to <br />the pit. The topsoil is spread over a large area in a 3 foot layer. The topsoil was acquired from the bottom of a nearby ranch <br />reservoir. Vegetation was present on the topsoil. Slopes at the site are 3H:1 V or less. Runoff at [he site appears to be <br />contained within the permit boundaries. Halegeton was present at the site but it was evident that it had been sprayed and it <br />appeared that noxious weeds at the site were well controlled. <br />3. All activities and completed work at the time of inspection appeared to be following the guidelines set forth in the mining <br />plan for the pit.
