Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the Inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement cation. This was a partial Inspsctlon of the Edro Strip Mine. The weetfier was deer end warm, although the proved and roads were damp because of heavy rains the previous day. The mine was accessible by the Moffat North Roed. Roads The Moffat Area roads were In good corrdttlon end well melnteined. The ditch at the Supenxrve functioned well during the recent rdna. No addftlonel slurripepe was abaervsd in the upper conveyor corridor. Hydrolooic lielance The West Ridge pond, the Center Rldps pond end the Moffat Area pond were dieclrerpinp. The dlsdierpe was dear. The bvver seven West Ridge ponds were inspected. All contained water end water was fbwing between them until about the third from the bottom. The d>an,ela are steWe, although some erosion was observed. The Wast Ridge spoil aprirq was fbwinp into the Kill Ditch and mbdnp with the disclarpe from the Center Ridge pond. The fbw from the spoil springs in the Moffat Area has decreased sipnlfkbrrtly skrce my lest kispection in May. Beckfi8ina and Gredina Repents have been uderteken on the gully d,srs,ei in the recldmed conveyor corridor. A strew much was agreed M the corridor. Water bars were oorrstructed across the oorrldor end the outNde of the water bas were covered whh press sod. This combination of treatments wee effective during the recent heavy storms.
