III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made during <br />the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection and the <br />facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was an aerial inspection of the Hamilton Mine for the month of May, 2001. <br />ROADS: Appear satisfactory. <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE: All ditches and culverts appear to be clear and capable of functioning as <br />designed. Pond A was dry and B was damp. Both ponds are capable of functioning as designed. <br />RECLAMATION SUCCESS: The site's vegetation appears to be the best it has ever been, however, <br />the reference areas also appear to be outstanding so it would prudent to wait at least another year <br />before sampling for phase II bond release. The site is very stable as far as erosion is concerned. <br />
