(Page 2)
MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID #: M-2007-035
INSPECTION DATE: 8-22-07 INSPECTOR'S INITIALS GRM
OBSERVATIONS
This inspection was conducted as part of the normal program established by the Colorado Division of Reclamation,
Mining and Safety for application reviews. This Pre-operational inspection is the second for the site due to the
leaving of the original specialist doing the review. The review was reassigned and in order to finish the review
process the inspector wanted to familiarize himself with the site. Mr. Joe Sessions met the inspector on site.
The Bond Pit is a 112c proposed permit for 20.312 acres. The site is located north of the Walden /Jackson County
Airport of State Highway 125.
The required notice under Rule 1.6.2(1)(b) was noted at the entrance to the proposed site.
The site is a square parcel of ]and with typical high plains /desert vegetation. Native gasses and small shrubs
produce an approximately 80% ground cover. Rabbit brush and sagebrush on the average of 1 to 2 feet are noted as
the primary vegetation overall.
The inspector notes no utilities or structures within 200 feet of the site. A fence line marks the north and west sides
of the permit area and survey stakes were visible marking the east and south boundaries.
There appears to be no issues of concern with the site itself.
The Division has yet to receive the requested revised maps for Exhibit C and F. Please submit them to the Grand
Junction Field Office as soon as possible.
Responses to this inspection report should be directed to Russ Means at the Division of Reclamation, Mining and
Safety, Grand Junction Field Office, 101 South 3rd Street, Room 301, Grand Junction, Colorado 81501, phone no.
970-241-1117.
I & E Contact Address cc:
^ CE
NAME: Joe Sessions ^ BL
OPERATOR: Glenn Sessions and Sons, Inc. ^ FS
STREET: P.O.
