Waste Area M3 <br />This area lies to the west of Pits B and D and constitutes approxi- <br />mately 0 acres. No mining will be done here; therefore, ~ area will <br />1 be use waste ma This area i a large <br />bowl w~ the South Ledge Ditch on the west and the limestone outcrop on <br />tfie east. This area is primarily used for pasturing with limited irri- <br />gation. <br />The t oil from this area is str_ ipped and stockpiled. The waste <br />shale is then p ced in the bottom.
