MINE <br />/ / <br />(Page 2) <br />ID # OR PROSPECTING ID #: M-19ft5-~ 09 <br />INSPECTION DATE: 7-4-02 INSPECTOR'S INITIALS: _J1L <br />OBSERVATIONS <br />Completed a partial inspection of this site as part of a Mined Land Reclamation Board directive to inspect every mine in the <br />state at least once every four years. <br />This is a 3.2 acre Limited Impact permit located about 13 miles northwest of Punkin Center, Colo. <br />Mining is progressing from south to north. Currently, about 1 acre has been disturbed. The operator is removing a small hill. <br />The site is accessed off of a county road thru the west side of a farm yard; follow the fence line north about'/< of a mile; <br />enter thru a barbed wire gate. <br />A mine ID sign has been placed at the entrance to the permit area. The permit boundary markers could not be located so <br />the operator was instructed to adequately delineate the permit boundaries and photograph the type and location of each <br />marker. Send the photos to the Division to demonstrate compliance with this problem by the corrective action due date.
