Operator currently 400 ft. from west boundary. Future mining t:o reduce
this setback to final 100 ft. setback.
3. Operator has seeded outslopes of quarry and road on north side.
Vegetation (primarily crested wheatgrass and some invading fortis) is doing
well at holding soil medium in place, thus reducing erosion concerns.
4. Please inform the Division when it is planned to install
this test plot since your letter referenced a plot installation time of winter
1983-84.
3. The tree and shrubs beautification project is doing well. Keep up the
good work.
4. The Division is concerned about the disposition of the water in the
southeast settling pond. It appears the culvert installed allows
sediment-laden water to be discharged from the site. Please address this
concern.
5. Operator doing good job of mining at this site.
