III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection The comments include discussion of observations made <br />during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection <br />and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was a complete inspection conducted by Kent Gorham of the Colorado Division of <br />Minerals and Geology. Ground conditions on this day were dry. The weather was hot and <br />overcast. This site is bond revoked <br />Roads <br />The road leading back to the east pit was traveled by vehicle and found in good condition. <br />The road to the Duck pond area was not traveled due to a locked gate. Culverts along the <br />road were found clear and functional. <br />Hydrologic Balance <br />A small sediment pond is located east of the gate at the mine entrance. This small pond was <br />found dry, which is normally the case due to a leaking riser. <br />Reveoetation <br />Cattle were not observed on the site during the inspection. The east and west pit areas did <br />not appeared heavily grazed. although cattle are normally free to graze these areas.
