Colorado 80203-2273 <br />RE: Mine ID11 M-77-251 (Lariat Mine) <br />Inspection Date (05/27/99) <br />Corrective Actions <br />Dear Ms. Kamnikar: <br />-~nr, <br />,. „~,. <br />n r,.i h'nneraia & Geology <br />With regard to the corrective actions requested by DMG as a result of the above inspection date and with <br />reference to Robinson Brick Company's letter dated June 29, 1999 requesting a 30 day extension, the <br />following is a status on correcting the deficiencies noted: <br />1. After additional review, Boundary markers were not installed as there is significant signage, <br />around the property indicating either No Trespassing, No Entry, Robinson Brick Company or <br />Martin Marrieta and 1 did not see the need for additional signage. If you are not satisfied with this <br />more signs can be installed. Please see attached pictures. <br />2. Slopes were regraded on the east face of the site shortly after the Inspection Report was received <br />by Robinson Brick Company in early June. Pictures are enclosed showing [his work, however, <br />these picmres were not taken until 7/29/99. Work done has been effective but will requ've <br />additionaVmaintenance in the not too distant future as some of the most recent summer rains have <br />eroded some of the work that was done. <br />Please let me know if the above is acceptable at this time and or if additional corrective measures are <br />required. <br />Sincerely, <br />Mark S.
