I <br />southwest corner of the reclaimed area. Both areas will need additional <br />stabilization practices and hand repair work to restabilize the areas. The <br />roadway is still active and should have water bars or other energy dissapators <br />installed as runoff is currently running straight down the road in at least one <br />area observed. Road status is documented in a 9/30/87 letter from the Jackson <br />County Administrator to the Bureau of Land Management and contained in <br />Phase I Bond Release correspondence. AFO files for both Phase 1 and II Bond <br />Releases were reviewed for this inspection but will not be reiterated in this <br />report. The fence across the road at the southwest corner of the affected area <br />was open and we closed it during the inspection. Heavy wildlife usage was <br />apparent throughout the reclaimed area. <br />We conducted a records review at the Jackson County Courthouse in Walden, <br />CO. This is the official local repository for the mines records. Records reviewed <br />included: 7/31/92 Permit Renewal and Findings Document including Stipulation <br />Status for Stips. No. 30, 31 and 32 ; 9/3/92 Proposed Decision For Renewal ; <br />Annual Reports dated 11/5/92 including :Hydrological Monitoring/Reclamation <br />and Revegetation (indicated reclamation activity in 1992 would include <br />interseeding of the reclaimed drill pad sites and the old M & T Road 1 ;Hydro. <br />report included :Annual Well # 7 Monitoring ,quarterly sediment pond <br />inspections recommending monitoring and possible enhancement of <br />revegetation on embankments below establishing waterlines and possible rodent <br />control ; 1 /15/92 Annual Reclamation Report for 1991 documenting <br />4 <br />
