4 <br />• The effect of recharge on the water table from the lake across the <br />highway <br />• Reports that the lake across the highway has been receding in the last 2 <br />- 3 years, prior to commencement of dewatering <br />The location of the wells owned by you and, other landowners in relation <br />to the direction of flow of the groundwater - <br />• Reports of water levels in the wells in question from varying times of• year <br />The effect of the low levels of precipitation during recent years <br />• The effect of decreased irrigation (and the resulting return flows) during <br />recent years <br />Based on the above, our office cannot make a clear determination as to what <br />extent the dewatering at the gravel pit is affecting the wells. - <br />As you. know-from TornSchreiner's letter, Applegate Graup has been <br />commissioned to perform a.detailed ground water investigation in the area to better <br />understand the interaction between alf components of the system, including those <br />variables identified above. Therefore, at this time our position is that Aggregate may not <br />be in complete compliance wiffi all aspects of ifs SWSP and well perrnit and we are <br />working. to ensure that they come into compliance.
