(Page 2) <br />MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID # M-79-191 <br />INSPECTION DATE 11/4/97 INSPECTOR'S INITIALS CLK <br />OBSERVATIONS <br />This site was inspected as part of the routine DMG monitoring program. The following are <br />observations of this 360 acre 112 site. <br />1) Signs and boundary markers are in place as required by the Rules. <br />2) The center portion of the property (120 acres) has been sold, and the Operator is planning <br />on completing reclamation of this area by June 1998. <br />3) Topsoil (20' wide, 10') has been stored along the entire southern boundary, and lines the <br />northern edge of the lake also. There appears to be enough to complete reclamation at this <br />time. <br />4) The lake will encompass fully half the excavation area, which is one third of the permit <br />area (58 acres) . At this time, the slopes arond the lake range from 3H:1V to 1. SH:1V. <br />Vegetation has taken hold on lake shores. <br />5) Materials stockpiles are stored along the western half of the pit. <br />The bond will be recalculated based on the current level of disturbance.
