(Page 2) • <br />MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID # M-97-015 <br />INSPECTION DATE 03/12/01 INSPECTOR'S INITIALS ESC <br />OBSHRVATIONS <br />This was an inspection of the Elrick Pit conducted by Erica Crosby of the Division of <br />Minerals and Geology. Jill Darrell of Akron Ready Mix was present during the inspection. <br />Weather conditions on site were clear and windy. Approximately 4" to 6" of snow cover was <br />present on site. <br />The site is located 8 miles east of Akron at Platner in Washington County, Colorado. The 112 <br />Mining and Reclamation Permit was issued to Akron Ready Mix on December 19, 1997 to encompass <br />a permit area of 36.7 acres within Surveyor Creek. <br />A mine identification sign was posted at the entrance to the site. Mining has not started at <br />this site. Current mining activities take place in the Langley Pit, Permit No. M-91-121.
