• (Page 2) •
MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID # M-80-136
INSPECTION DATE 4 7 8 INSPECTOR'S INITIALS CLK
OBSERVATIONS
This inspection of this 149 acre 112 site was conducted as part of DMG's routine monitoring
program.
1) Signs and boundary markers were posted as required by the Rules.
2) Setbacks from the river (70' above) were being observed.
3) Topsoil is stored along the southern, northern, and western boundaries; more than enough
is stockpiled (20'x 100' x 800' along the north boundary, 400'x3~0'x15' along the south
boundary) to complete reclamation of the remaining slopes.
4) All diesel tanks had adequate berms and spill control surrounding them.
5) Approximately 27 acres is disturbed at this time (15 acres (approx.) have been reclaimed,
while 8 remain undisturbed). A significant portion of the site (100 acres) has become part
of the Eagle County recreational facilities, and will not be disturbed for some time in the
future.
6) No pond exists at the site, as is currently planned as part of the reclamation plan, and
none is planned for the immediate future. Should it be decided that this pond will never be
built, a technical revision must be submitted to DMG to accomodate the change in the
reclamation plan.
7) A permanent asphalt batch plant has been put in place on the site; this was not included
in the last bond estimate. The financial warranty may be increased to accomodate demolition
costs, as well as the 7 acres excess disturbance.
8) About 15 acres have been reclaimed (graded, topsoiled, and first-season seeded) at this
time.
The bond will be checked within 60 days, and if an increase is necessary, the Operator will
be informed.
No problems were noted at this time.
I & E Contact Address
NAME Julie Goettemoeller
OPERATOR Western Mobile
STREET _1590 W. 12th Ave
CITY/STATE/ZIP Denver.
