Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made
during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken d~uing the inspection
and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action.
Note that specs below for Ditch G-G and H-H are from permit Appendix 13-2, pp. CRDA1-
10 through CRDA1-13. The Cross-section design on Exhibit 20 for ditches G-G and H-H
does not appear to correspond precisely to the Appendix 13-2 designs. The cross-section
as presented appears to illustrate design for Ditch H-H 5% and 25% slopes, rather than
design for both Ditch G-G and H-H, as indicated. Please clarify and amend permit sections
as appropriate.
CRDA-1 Upper NW Collection Ditch G-G (Steep Riprap 1994 Construction)
Measured Section Slope 25%; 4'bw; 10' tw; d=2'.
Design Specs: Slope 5%-25%; bw=2'; 4.2'tw if 25%, 5.0'tw if 5%; d= 13" (25°~);
Evaluation: Ditch segment as built appears to exceed design requirements, and is stable.
CRDA-1 Upper NW Collection Ditch G-G (Section below 2n° drain inlet; 1994 construction)
Measurad Section Slope 5°,G; 2'bw; 7' tw; d= 15".
Design Specs: Slope 5%-25°h; bw=2'; 4.2'tw if 25°h, 5.0'tw if 5%; d=13" (25%);
Evaluation: Ditch segment as built appears to meet design capacity, however some cleanout

CRDA-1 NW Collection Ditch E-E (1994 Construction)

Design Specs: Slope 3.7%; "V" ditch 8.8' tw; d=2.2'.
Evaluation: Ditch capacity as built slightly exceeds design capacity. Upper segment of ditch
is eroded and stabilization is warranted.
