OBSERVATION
The Division conducted a monitoring inspection of the site as part of sites
to be inspected during the fiscal years 2006/2007. The site is a small 110
sand and gravel operation located approximately 3 miles South of Lamar,
Colorado. Present during the inspection was Mr. Feren Williams of Prowers
County Road and Bridge.
Site was not active at the time of the inspection. Permit sign and boundary
markers properly posted at the access to the property. A small stock pile
processed material was noted in the middle of the pit area. Pit high walls
were stable no sign of failure noted. Clay Creek runs along the North side
of the permit area. The reclamation plans calls for a 100 foot set back
from the Creek
