A sign was in place with the operator's name and the DMG permit number.
2. No boundary markers were in place on half of the site; the other half was defined by
natural boundaries (PB1).
3. Approximately 2 acres have been disturbed at the site at this time, in the form of two
highwalls approximately 15' high and 300' long (cumulatively). There is also a small 75'
highwall approximately 7' high south of the first part of the excavation. Topsoil has been
salvaged in a berm 10' high and 35' wide along one 150' long highwall, as well as along two
small cuts 75' long, 5' high, and 15' wide; sufficient topsoil has been saved to reclaim the
site at this time.
4. Vegetative cover on the undisturbed aresas is approximately 754, with brome, yellow
sweetclover, crested wheatgrass, and penstemon dominating. There is very little cover on the
two acres that have been excavated.
The bond for this site will be recalculated and the financial warranty checked within a month
to determine if it is still current.
I & E Contact Address cc: Carl B.
