Final reclamation of the portal will include
a locked grate to still allow the discharge, but the loose colluvium above and around the current portal will be pulled back to
competent solid rock. The grated portal will be re-established in a location about 30 feet farther south along the drift.
No disturbance is to occur to the power poles and overhead electric lines. Likewise, the pre-law tailings area north of Zone D
will not be disturbed during reclamation,
The bond is due for recalculation, but this will be postponed until the end of this 2005 construction season due to the pending
reclamation activities scheduled for this summer. This inspector would appreciate being notified prior to the scheduled
reclamation activities, so that an inspection is possible during the reclamation.
There were no problems noted, and no further items were observed during the inspection.
