No problems were noted at
any of the stock pond locations.
Post-mine channels that were accessible were stable and appeared to be functioning properly.
Backfill & Gradine
The stability of the re-graded East Wadge Pit azea is improving. There are still some rills and
gullies forming at the steep eastern edge of the former pit. Four significant gullies were noted on
the slope west of SIIPM-8, and two smaller gullies cross the road just prior to the SIIPM-8
channel. One other location where rills aze still forming is on the slope above Stock Pond T32 in
the former Wolf Creek Pit azea. Please fill, regrade, or otherwise stabilize these azeas of erosion.
Reve etg ation
The mine site has received significant snow and rain during the past winter and this spring and as
a result, the vegetation generally looked very green and well established in most azeas of the site.
Troublesome weeds are beginning to be noticeable at some locations of the mine site. Hounds
Tongue and thistle were identified in the East Wadge Pit area. Dalmatian Toadflax was noted at
the top of the Wolf Creek Pit in the location of the former radio tower.
