Issue No. 1, related to C-
Pit hydrology, will be addressed by Cemex on or before September 24, 2004, as requested by
the Division.
Issue No. 2 involves areas of the site which have been reclaimed differently than what was
approved in the original permit and subsequent revisions. In your inspection report, you
requested that this 2nd issue be addressed by October 1, 2004. Cemex proposes to submit a
Technical Revision (TR) to the permit no later than October 22, 2004 to address these
variances. Please let me know if this extension is acceptable to the Division. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Maureen Jacoby
Project Manager
cc: Eric Hodek, Cemex, Inc.
