III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made during <br />the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection and the <br />facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was a partial inspection conducted by Tom Gillis of the Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology. No <br />operator representative was present at the time of the inspection. Clear skies and dry ground prevailed at the time <br />of the inspection.. With the operator's consent, this report was issued from the Durango office. <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE: <br />The mine drainage control system was functioning properly at the time of the inspection, including road drainage <br />ditches, culverts, and berms. <br />REVEGETATION & RECLAMATION SUCCESS: <br />Vegetation on reclaimed areas was in good shape throughout the mine. No problems were noted at the time of the <br />inspection. <br />
