III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE

This was a partial inspection conducted by Tom Gillis of the Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology. No
operator representative was present at the time of the inspection. Clear skies and dry ground prevailed at the time
of the inspection.. With the operator's consent, this report was issued from the Durango office.
HYDROLOGIC BALANCE:
The mine drainage control system was functioning properly at the time of the inspection, including road drainage
ditches, culverts, and berms.
REVEGETATION & RECLAMATION SUCCESS:
Vegetation on reclaimed areas was in good shape throughout the mine. No problems were noted at the time of the
inspection.
