<br />III. COMMENTS - COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made <br />during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the <br />inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was a partial inspection conducted by Kent Gorham of the Colorado Division of <br />Minerals and Geology. This site is entirely reclaimed, with a total reclaimed area of <br />about seven acres. One or two inches of fresh snow covered the ground and the weather <br />was cold, windy and snowing. <br />Hydrologic Balance <br />The sediment pond appeared in good condition and was dry. Engleville Gulch was not <br />flowing. <br />Revegetation <br />The reclaimed area was snow covered but appeared in good condition. No evidence of <br />recent grazing was noted. Cattle were congregated at the gate to the site and in the <br />surrounding area. <br />Overall the site appeared in good condition for mid winter fall. <br />Page 3 <br />
