(Page 2) <br />MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID #; M-1087-t'i1 <br />INSPECTION DATE: ~/~0~ INSPECTOR'S INITIALS: niw <br />OBSERVATIONS <br />This was a normal monitoring inspection conducted by Tony Waldron of DMG along with Rusty Cochran and Eric <br />Reckentine representing the operator. The site is located approximately Z miles south of Penrose, Colorado and the pit is <br />situated on a old alluvial terracejust above the Arkansas River. <br />The only activity presently occurring at this site is the removal of some stockpiled material. The most recent mining took <br />place in phase IV. This is a rather large operation encompassing approximately 821 acres. It was difficult to determine <br />the exact permit boundaries and phase boundaries since there are several posts, survey stakes, etc., scattered around the <br />property. Since this operation is bonded using a phased approach, the ability to determine where those phases are on <br />the ground and in relation to each other is very important. Therefore, this is being cited as a problem on page three of <br />this report along with appropriate corrective actions.
