GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE <br />The operation was in compliance with the general mine plan. Longwall mining had reached Station 65+00 in <br />the 19-Right Panel. Development work had reached Station 66+00 in the 21 Right Headgate. The headgate for <br />Pane120 had been completed. The 6 Mains North shaft had been sunk 1045 feet of the design 1270 feet. <br />Handling of coal on the surface was as described in the Permit Application Package (PAP). Coal was being <br />shipped by truck and by rail. <br />REVEGETATION <br />Eventual revegetation of long-term mining disturbed areas is required in the reclamation plan. See the note <br />under reclamation success for disturbed azeas of the South West Mining District. <br />EXCESS SPOIL & DEVELOPMENT WASTE <br />Development waste from the coal processing plant was being disposed of in Area 2 of the Refuse Pile. <br />Thickener underflow coal fines was being taken from Pond E and disposed of in Area 3 of the Refuse Pile <br />(temporary storage). Development waste from the 6 Mains North shaft project was being placed in the <br />designated azea at the site. <br />RECLAMATION SUCCESS <br />There has been no reclamation bond releases processed at the Foidel Mine site. However, the reclamation cost <br />estimate for South West Mining District disturbances is reflected as zero. <br />OTHER <br />A copy of the MR 213 application, a copy of Map EX49A-MS revised 08/14/06, revised pages for MR 212, <br />and a response letter to PR-7 adequacy questions were handed to Walker by Nettleton. <br />C-1982-056.
