It was <br />observed that the operator is quarrying at the north end of the permit area, in accordance <br />with the approved mine plan. Such topsoil as ie present at the site has been segregated and <br />stockpiled for reclamation. The quarry pits will be partially backfilled with waste rock or <br />fines generated in the quarry; areas that have been backfilled and reclaimed were observed, <br />but were not closely inspected. <br />Revegetation teat plots are a requirement of the reclamation permit for this quarry. Ae a <br />condition to the approval of the 1991 conversion of this permit to a regular (112) operation, <br />the operator was to submit ae part of the permit annual report, an analyeie of the <br />revegetation suttees on the reclamation teat plots. Such an analyeie was not submitted with <br />the most recent annual report, and will have to be provided at this time (see PBl1 on page <br />3 of this inspection report). <br />The adequacy of the financial warranty for the Weaver Quarry was reviewed at the time of the <br />approval of technical revision TR-03 in 1994.
