The site is small 112 <br />sand and gravel operation located 13 miles East of Lamar, Colorado. <br />Present during the inspection was Mr. Mark Dorenkamp, supervisor Road and <br />Bridge for Prowers' County. <br />Site was not active at the time of the inspection. Signs and markers <br />properly posted. Site is actively being mined by the county even though it <br />was not active at the time of the inspection. Large quantities of <br />stockpiled processed material were noted scattered through out the pit <br />area. <br />Topsoil stock piles properly protected and stable.
