III. COMMENTS COMPLIANCE
Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made
during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the
inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action.
This was an aerial inspection flown by Harry Ranney of the Colorado Division of Minerals
and Geology. Two oblique aerial photos were reviewed in the office by Kent Gorham of
CDMG on January 10. 2001. This former underground mine site is reclaimed. The mine is
currently being evaluated fora Phase II bond release.
General Mine Plan Compliance
The site was clearly visible in both photos. Photo 13-00-12-27-1 is presented in this
report. The site appears to have 2-4 inches of recent snow covering the ground. The
two recently reclaimed gas drill pads can be seen, one in the left 1/3 of the photo and
the other in the right one third of the photo. The main reclaimed area blends in well
with the surrounding area. Nothing unusual was noted upon close inspection of the two
photos.
Photo 12-00-12-27-1 Golden Eagle December 2000
IV_ Page 3 T ACTIONS
