(Page 2)
MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID # M-1977-416
INSPECTION DATE 8/30107 INSPECTOR'S INITIALS RCO.AJW
OBSERVATIONS
This partial inspection was performed by the Division as part of its monitoring of Hard Rock/Metals 110(2) permits. The
operator was contacted about the scheduled inspection, This partial inspection was performed while the operator's
representatives were at another nearby permitted site, and were therefore not considered to be present during this inspection.
This mine is part of the Sunday Mines complex, a group of five neighboring mines that are all separately permitted by this
operator but function together as one operational unit. This site has not been reactivated during this period of reactivation of
the other permitted mines in this operational group.
The site includes a portal, small building on the dump near the portal, a permanent (public) road, temporary (private) road,
stormwater control structures, and topsoil stockpile. The site appeared stable, with portal doors closed, gate locked, and no
equipment or stockpiles observed. During past inspections, the access roads have been seen to contain knapweed, and these
areas especially should continue to be monitored. Overall there were no changes to the site.
The bond was recently recalculated and does not need to be reviewed at this time.
All activities carried out or planned for the upcoming year should be included in the annual reports.
No further items were observed during the inspection. Responses to this inspection report should be directed to the Division of
Reclamation, Mining and Safety, 701 Camino del Rio, Room 325, Durango, Colorado 81301, Attn: Bob Oswald; phone no. 970-
247-5193.
