These three <br />sites are Powers 1Pit, Gypsum Ranch Pit, and Latham Pit. The extension you granted was <br />to June 28, 2002. <br />The financial warranty bonds for Powers and Latham have been ordered in the amount <br />recommended in }'cur reports. I expect them to arrive early next week and I will forward <br />them to the Denver office. <br />Surveys have bew3 ordered for the Powers and Gypsum Ranch sites to facilitate the map <br />revisions. Lack of a good map has been a problem since we have acquired the properties. <br />During this time rmtil June 28, we will not take any action which will increase heights of <br />high walls or increase the area of disturbance without corresponding reclamation. Next <br />week we have surveyors scheduled to install more stakes on the boundaries of Powers <br />and Gypsum Ranch.
