Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. This was a complete inspection of the GEC mine conducted by Jim Stark of CDMG. The bond for this site has been forfeited and reclamation was completed by DMG. The weather was warm and sunny and, despite receiving rain the previous day, the ground was dry. Chen's Hill has some gullying on the North side but appears to be well vegetated and stable. Due to the dry conditions in the area much of the vegetation appears to be dormant. There are a large number of trees growing on the top of the hill. The Orphan Pit, Tipple and Duck Pond areas appeared to be well vegetated and in good condition. These areas are also very dry and much of the vegetation on these areas also appears to be dormant. The road to these areas is the Corley Mountain Ranch Road, This road is well maintained and in good condition. The access road to the East and West Pit areas is a little rutted but in overall good condition. The East Pit drainage remains in good shape. The riprap that was placed in the two gullies below the road and the top of the drainage appears to still be stable and is continuing to fill in with sediment. The riprap appears to have held up well during the rain, although the exact amount of rain the area received is unknown. There was some water in Magpie Creek in the bottom part of the East Pit drainage. Both the East and West Pit areas seemed to be well vegetated and in good condition. The area has been very dry and much of the vegetation appeared to be dormant. These areas have been used for grazing and appear to be in good condition. Overall the site is in good condition.
