This equivalence may not continue <br />into the spring when snow melt occurs. <br />Consequently, COM, Inc. is evaluating the options for removing the Hazel A adit <br />from the water management system in consultation with the Division and the Water <br />Quality Control Division. An inspection focusing on these issues was conducted by both <br />agencies with Mr. Fox present on January 23, 1996. COM, Inc. has discussed the options <br />further with the Division and will develop a plan for removing the Hazel A from the <br />system shortly. <br />3. Scarify and Reseed Compacted Area <br />In late December, COM, Inc.'s crew scarified and reseeded the area above the <br />tailings pond which was compacted by the vacuum truck when it discharged the tailings <br />removed from the Hazel A into the tailings pond. <br />4. In-Line Plastics Certification <br />COM, [nc. received and submitted the certification by In-Line Plastics for the liner <br />strip it welded to the existing liner along the tailings pond dam and additional repairs it <br />performed on November 13-16, 1996. <br />IM1bU-/, /.19V6 <br />
