Report - IvL90-057
Dear AQr. Schreiner:
In compliance with the Minerals Program Lspection Report dated 09-08-93, I am
forwarding w your office photographs of the mine I.D. signs and'oounclary markers as
requested in that correspondence.
In atl; we have posted fifteen signs and markers around the boundaries of the mine and the
mill sites. I have enclosed pictures of nine of those sib s as corroboration. As you can see
from these enclosed photos, it has already begun to snow quite a bit in the high country.
~6~e posted the signs and placed bound`~ry markers November 8, 1993, but we must have
missed ivtr. Squire's visit earlier in the day.
There is one commeni on the inspection report which needs to be con'ec[ed. The mine and
mill have been on a shutdown, stand-by basis since January 1993, and no mining or milling
of an}' kind has occurred since Ghzn. ~1r. Squire's written observation that "it appeared that
a small amount of material had keen removed from the shaft and placed on the surface
sometime during the summer" was in error. iiL,t material was removed and placed on
surface during a much earlier period of activity at [he mine.
Sincerely yours,
~~
Judy R.
