,, <br />III. COMMENTS - COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of <br />observations made during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement <br />actions taken during the inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the <br />enforcement action. <br />This was a complete inspection conducted by Tom Kaldenbach of the Colorado Division <br />of Minerals and Geology. Rick Mills represented the operator. The weather was warm <br />and dry. A hard rain had occurred several days before the inspection. Vegetation was <br />starting to brown up. <br />HYDROLOGIC nar.auCE <br />Pond A discharge. The flume was discharging about one inch high on the gauge. The <br />flume was in good shape(NPDES permit CO-0027154, outfall 001). <br />Pond G. No discharge. <br />REVEGETATION <br />No weed problems were found in the large areas inspected. Cover appeared good <br />throughout the site. <br />SLIDES AND DAMAGE <br />No new rills or gullies were found on the Eckman Park site despite the hard rain <br />several days before that rilled the east face of the refuse pile on the Foidel Creek <br />Mine. <br />Page 3 <br />
