Mount and Kate Pickford of the Division of Minerals and <br /> Geology in response to ongoing site reclamation. Attending the inspection was Mr. Mike Frick of Dirt-n- <br /> Iron, representing the operator, Mining and Minerals Ltd. <br /> The site was in similar condition to when it was last inspected, however, building clean up and security <br /> have improved. The outer metal sheeting of the mill building has been removed and most of the area <br /> inside has been cleaned up. Almost all the milling equipment is still in place but will be removed this <br /> summer. <br /> The lab/office building is not yet secured and potentially hazardous chemicals exist including the <br /> following: <br /> 4- 55 Gallon drums labeled as FeSO4 waste, <br /> 1 -35? Gallon drum of Sodium Cyanide <br /> 2-55 Gallon drums of Boric Acid <br /> 2-55 Gallon drums of Soda Ash <br /> 2-55 Gallon drums of CaC104 (Calcium Chlorate) <br /> These chemicals must be disposed of properly and bills of lading or receipts indicating their proper <br /> disposal submitted to the Division of Minerals and Geology. <br /> The shop building is now secured and seems well organized. However, the gate at the entrance to the <br /> site is still easily bypassed.
