A site inspection was made of the M & G Pit at the request of the operator. Steve O'Brian <br />was present, representing the operator. Al Frei & Sons, Inc. is nearing completion of the <br />mining phase at the M & G Pit and is beginning final reclamation of portions of Che disturbed <br />area. <br />2. The reclamation plan for the M & G Pit specifies creation of a lake with a stable, <br />vegetative shoreline. Grading will be carried on to create topography similar to pre-mining <br />conditions. The lake shoreline will be graded to a 3:1 slope from the existing ground level <br />to 10 feet below the water surface, then to a.2 :1 slope to the bottom of the lake. <br />3. The operator is in the process of regrading shoreline areas to final reclamation slopes <br />where ~m fining has been completed. All shoreline areas were evaluated by this inspector and <br />Mr. O'Brian. Several areas were noted and flagged where slopes above the water line were <br />steeper than 3:1 and require additional grading to achieve the required slope. <br />9.
