The
site used to be a 112 sand and gravel operation that was taken over from
the previous operator by the C-470 Public Highway Authority in 1999. The
site is now completely reclaimed with a large pond as part of the post
mining land use. Pond embankments appeared stable and vegetated, no erosion
features other than would be expected were noted. Even though the site is
completely reclaimed, the operator does not want request a release because
they feel there is more resource to be mined if the need arises. Since it
is reclaimed and it is up to the operator to request a release, the
Division requested the operator to submit a change in status from Active to
Temporary cessation. Mr. Alexandra agreed to send a letter requesting a
status change. The entire permit is fenced, operator was requested to place
a permit sign at the excess to the property that is visible to the public.
They both agreed to place the sign as soon as possible.
I & E Contact Address
NAME: MR MATT ALEXANDER
OPERATOR: E-470 PUBLIC HIGHWAY AUTHORITY
STREET: 99470 F ArH AVENUE
CITY/STATE/ZIP: AI IRnRA Cnl nRAlln RM1R
CC:
Harry Posey (e-mail)
cc: r CE
All overburden/ topsoil
r BL
t FS
I' H W
P HMWMD NCH)
r
t SE
I' WQCD (CH)
I' OTHER
