The bond for
this site has been forfeited and reclamation was completed by DMG. fie weather
was warm and cloudy and the ground was dry.
Although there have been several precipitation events in the past month, it does not
appear that any of the erosional problems at the mine (Chen's Hill and the East Pit)
have become any worse. The vegetative cover is still good and with the recent
precipitation, the site is "greening up" nicely.
The Duck Pond, Orphans Pit and the Loadout areas are all in good shape as well.
The area ~ well vegetated and, for the most part, seems to be stabilized.
