Diffuse Knapweed at the <br />Docheff Gravel pit on GCR <3. <br />At this late date in the growing season the only control is hand <br />pulling (if the seeds have not yet shattered off the seed heads) <br />and burn or deeply burry tl:e dormanr_ plar_ts. This species only <br />reproduces by seed! <br />Neva year as knapweed plants appear, treat with herbicide <br />according to label direction. Twu herbicides that are <br />particularly effective on };napweed are Tordon, and the new <br />herbicide Milestone.
